The 2022 BRICS New Industrial Revolution Exhibition opened at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center in Xiamen city, southeast China's Fujian Province, on Sept. 8, 2022. With the theme of "Good Technology, Good Life," the exhibition area of Genertec displayed the fruitful results the group has achieved in participation in the construction of the BRICS innovation base in recent years. As a member of the BRICS Business Council, Genertec has been committed to implementing the cooperation projects in various fields and at various levels inked between BRICS member states, and will work together with other members of the BRICS Business Council to firmly support the building of the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution.
Genertec's low-carbon technology benefits whole world Genertec International has participated in the construction of major green and low-carbon industrial projects, including the 84MW wind farm in Ivovik, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the 100MW solar power plant in Kaposvar, Hungary, making its contribution to sustainable and low-carbon development of the world.
The 84MW wind farm in Ivovik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as an outcome of the Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs), is the first new energy project on the list that has been implemented. After its completion, the wind farm is expected to become the largest new energy power generation project in Bosnia and Herzegovina and inject green power to the development of European countries. The 100MW solar power plant in Kaposvar, Hungary is one of the largest solar power plants in Central and Eastern Europe, and it was named the European Solar Deal of the Year (2020) by the IJ Global magazine. Genertec provides medical services to gurad lives overseas To provide medical assistance to Chinese enterprises running businesses abroad and to safeguard the health of their Chinese employees who are working abroad, Genertec Gem Flower Healthcare has provided multiple medical and healthcare services, including physical examination, health management, occupational health services, prevention of occupational diseases, medical green passage services, emergency rescue, international medical transfer, medical insurance, itinerant medical services, and prevention and control of infectious diseases, including the COVID-19 pandemic and malaria.
Aside from these, Genertec Gem Flower Healthcare has also actively explored opportunities for promoting international medical cooperation, and established an online medical service platform for Chinese nationals abroad to access medical services. The medical glove production project in Uzbekistan is a world-class medical glove production plant jointly built by Genertec Meheco and Dentafill, a supplier of medical gloves in Uzbekistan. In 2020, the international logistics chain was paralyzed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Central Asian countries, including Uzbekistan, which did not produce enough natural rubber, a raw material for making medical gloves, were in dire need of medical gloves. The medical glove production plant, which Genertec Meheco completed in 12 months, satisfied the pressing needs of local medical workers. Genertec Meheco also sent anti-pandemic raw materials and pharmaceuticals to Uzbekistan via the China-Central Asia freight train services, supporting the country's efforts against COVID-19 and making its contribution to cementing China-Uzbekistan friendship. Genertec helps Brazil, Uzbekistan develop rail transit To help boost the transport capacity of Brazil during the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games and to alleviate contradictions in transport capacity in areas between the urban suburbs and central business district in Rio de Janeiro, Genertec exported 100 intercity electric multiple units to the city. At the 2022 BRICS New Industrial Revolution Exhibition, Genertec also displayed modern railway projects undertaken by it in Uzbekistan, including railway electrification projects and its supply of electric locomotives to Uzbekistan. Since it started to carry out the first railway electrification project in Central Asia, which is also the first project of such kind implemented by a Chinese enterprise in the region, in 2007, Genertec has helped electrify more than 700 kilometers of railways in the region, which account for one third of the total mileage of railways it has electrified. Genertec has provided 82 electric locomotives to Uzbekistan, which account for more than 80 percent of the electric locomotives owned by the country.
