2023-11-30

Genertec executives have taken part in the first China International Supply Chain Expo, which kicked off on Nov. 28 in Beijing and is scheduled to run until Dec. 2.

Lu Yimin, president of Genertec, attended the opening ceremony of the expo on Nov. 28 upon invitation. On the same day, Lu and Ma Kehui, vice president of Genertec, accompanied Ren Hongbin, chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), on his visit to Genertec's exhibition booth at the expo.

Signing agreement for win-win cooperation

On Nov. 28, Genertec and GE Healthcare took a significant step forward in their longstanding friendship and partnership by signing an agreement to deepen their cooperation in innovative applications of medical informatization.

The two sides are expected to carry out in-depth cooperation on SEI medical image digitalization. By giving full play to each other’s advantages and strengths and leveraging sci-tech innovations and data-driven solutions, they will jointly advance market expansion, product development, and innovative application of information technology (IT) with a focus on smart healthcare.

By doing so, they aim to provide more targeted, personalized health solutions for patients and customers while continuously expanding their strategic cooperation to more areas.

Engaging in riveting discussions at thematic forums

On Nov. 29, Lu and Ma participated in a thematic forum on health of the first China International Supply Chain Expo.

Spotlighting topics including biopharmaceuticals, health, elderly and nursing care, smart health, high-quality life, as well as other business forms of comprehensive health services covering people's entire life cycle, participants in the forum discussed new trends of cutting-edge technologies in a bid to promote integrated development of the pharmaceutical and medical industrial chains and build a complete and well-structured industrial system for the health sector.

Lu delivered a speech titled “Working Together to Build a Healthy China and Create a Beautiful Life” at the forum.

He noted in his speech that Genertec will leverage its full-industrial-chain advantages, especially its extensive and rich medical resources that cover various scenarios across multiple fields, to build an integrated professional digital platform.

Through a group-based standardized management system, Genertec will improve the service capacities of medical institutions, rapidly deploy innovative applications related to pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, continuously enrich its health management and elderly care offerings, and advance the construction and development of the ecosystem of the comprehensive health industrial chain.
