The Chinese Chapter of the BRICS Business Council held its first meeting of 2026 in Beijing on July 16. YU Xubo, a member of the Chinese Chapter of the BRICS Business Council and Chairman of Genertec, attended the meeting.

The meeting outlined the Chinese Chapter's key priorities for the next stage. Representatives from member organizations exchanged views on topics including the high-quality implementation of the Council's annual work plan and preparations for deliverables during China's BRICS chairmanship in 2027.

Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the chair, council members, secretary-general and deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Chapter, attended the meeting. Chairman of Genertec International also attended the meeting.
